This Saturday, May 1st at the Green Muse Cafe (519 W. Oltorf) at 8:00.

Featuring Jim Ivy's Jinx Street Band, The Hickory Street Jazz Orchestra, the Puddin' Hill Mob, and Brian E. Rise.

I don't know anything about Brian E. Rise or Jim Ivy's band, but Hickory Street and Puddin' Hill Mob are fantastic hot jazz bands. The two of them and the White Ghost Shivers did a show at the Green Muse last fall and it was a lot of fun.
