We are Open for Thanksgiving 2014!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! The Austin Swing Syndicate will be open on Thanksgiving (as we have in the previous years)! In keeping with that tradition, the dance will be completely FREE since it will be run by volunteers who have taken time out of their Thanksgiving evening to operate the Thursday dance! Also, special to this year, we’ll have teachers for the beginner lesson starting at 8:15pm! How can you beat a FREE dance and FREE lesson on Thanksgiving? Seems like one of the best pre-Black Friday deals! The schedule for the Thanksgiving dance is:
- 8:00pm: Doors Open
- 8:15pm to 9:00pm: Intro to Swing Beginner Lesson in the main ballroom
- 9:00pm to Midnight: DJ’ed Social Dance in the main ballroom
Please keep in mind, there will be no side room tonight, and also no front desk since entry is free, so we will not be selling concessions or water bottles. Also, if you haven’t been to a Thursday dance in a while, we have a new parking garage to park at. Please park there. The exit code will be at the Fed for you to pick up.
