Keli Hawthorne
Keli loves swing dancing and makes her classes fun and joyful, just like her dancing. Her background in ballet and tap is expressed in fun swing rhythms and solid technique that she shares with her students. As a DJ, she loves thinking of the music as a core partnership when dancing and teaching. Keli loves lindy hop, balboa, solo jazz, and Charleston.

Lon Nix
Lon started swing dancing in 2021 to prepare for his sister's wedding. He quickly fell in love with it and it became one of his favorite past times. He has been teaching in Austin since 2023 and has traveled as far as Australia for dancing. He has been teaching Lindy Hop and Charleston for the Austin Swing Syndicate since 2024 and is happy to continue doing so as well as teaching private lessons. If you're interested, contact Lon at lonnix@lonnix.dev

Kunal Sahasrabuddhe
Kunal has been dancing in some form for most of the last 15 years, dabbling across styles before focusing on Swing and Blues dancing since the pandemic, focusing on connection and groove across them all. He's happy to dance and teach any of them, so come find him for a dance when the song moves you, or with a question when you want to know more!

Thomas Williamson
Thomas has been dancing Lindy Hop for over a decade and has been teaching for nearly as long, mostly in Houston and Austin. He holds competition placements at events across the country including Lindyfest, Lindy on the Rocks, Kind of a Big Deal Weekend, and more. He enjoys teaching beginners and bringing the joy of swing dancing to others!

Amanda Pincock
Amanda has loved dance since childhood, starting with the swing dancing she saw in early cartoons. That spark led her into Southern California’s Swing Revival as a teenager in 1995. After relocating to Austin in 2014, she shifted her focus to Collegiate Shag and has been teaching, performing, and helping grow the local dance community ever since. With a background in classroom education and a master’s degree focused on adult learning, Amanda blends serious technique with an emphasis on fun, self-expression, and love for the dance and its history.

Tabitha Robinson
Tabitha has been dancing since 2001. She has taught at Barcelona Shag Festival, Alamo Stomp, and many other events! Tabitha loves all dancing and creating movement to music. What drew her to swing dancing is a love for aerials, lifts, and tricks. She is available for private lessons in Collegiate Shag, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Solo Jazz, and Airsteps. Please reach out to Tabitha at tabitha@hotrhythmfoundation.org.

Joseph Robinson
Joseph has been dancing since 1997. He has taught at the Barcelona Shag Festival, Alamo Stomp, and many other events. He was one of the founding members of the University of Central Florida Swing Club. The thing Joe loves about teaching is passing along the acquired knowledge and inspiration that he received from old film clips. Joe is available for private lessons in Collegiate Shag, Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Airsteps. He can be contacted by email at joesphrobinsonii@hotmail.com.

Zach Lockett-Streiff
Zach has been dancing since 2010, starting at his college swing club. Years of wrangling an unhinged enthusiasm for shag have honed a playful and musical style, delighting audiences across the world. Zach creates a lighthearted and positive learning environment with witty banter and dad jokes. He has taught at events around the world and leads the Shag community-building efforts at his home in Austin.
